Fitz’s Fish Ponds, a leading name in the pond industry, celebrated the grand opening of its dedicated Aquariums & Aquascaping store within the flagship Green Brook Retail Pond Store on January 20 and 21, 2024. This marked a significant expansion for the company into the realm of planted aquariums, promising customers an unparalleled experience.
The weekend kicked off on Saturday January 21, 2024 with the presence of special guest John from Oase, a renowned brand in the aquascaping industry. John shared expert insights on filtration solutions, and attendees had the chance to win an Oase filter. Children engaged in an exciting art installation, coloring images of aquarium fish that will soon adorn the store.
The Grand Opening weekend featured expert guidance from Aquariums Manager, Jenn Bujalski, and Store Manager, Ryan Cardillo. The store proudly showcased a curated selection of products from top brands such as Tropica, Hikari, Xtreme Aquatic Foods, Oase, Ultum Nature Systems, CO2 Art, Twinstar, and more.

Sunday’s highlights included hobbyists participating in a plant swap, allowed enthusiasts to diversify their collections, fostering community building and connection among fellow aquarists. Live demonstrations by Jenn Bujalski showcased hardscaping techniques for planted aquariums, providing valuable insights for both beginners and experienced aquarists.
